4. Insert the optical head on the Bertrand lens and
lock the locking screw with the provided Allen
wrench. (Fig. 13)
• Hold the head with one hand during the
locking in order to avoid that the head falls.
5. Insert both eyepieces into the tubes of the optical
head. (Fig. 14)
• One of the two eyepieces is equipped with
a crosshair for centering the entire optical
system. It is advisable to insert the eyepiece
with crosshair in the right eyepiece sleeve.
6. Insert the condenser under the stage: position
until it is well inserted into its holder (under the
condenser there is a pin that must fully enter the
holder guide). (Fig. 15)
7. Lock the condenser fixing knob ①.
8. Mount the rotating stage: at the bottom of the
stage there is a spring, push this spring toward
the stage support ①, then push the stage down-
ward ②. (Fig. 16)
