UNIT OF TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
OPERATION
BLAST COOLING CYCLES
SOFT BLAST COOLING CYCLE WITH CORE TEMPERATURE PROBE: A suitable cycle for cooling foodstuffs
with a thickness less than 4 cm using a cabinet interior temperature of approximately 0°C. The cycle is controlled
by a core temperature probe.
HARD BLAST COOLING CYCLE WITH CORE TEMPERATURE PROBE: A suitable cycle for cooling foodstuffs
with a thickness of more than 4 cm using a cabinet interior temperature varying between -30°C and -5°C. The
cycle is controlled by a core temperature probe.
BLAST FREEZING CYCLE WITH CORE TEMPERATURE PROBE: A cycle suitable for freezing foodstuffs using
a cabinet interior temperature of approximately -30°C. The cycle is controlled by a core temperature probe.
TIME-CONTROLLED SOFT BLAST COOLING CYCLE: A suitable cycle for cooling foodstuffs with a thickness
of less than 4 cm using a cabinet interior temperature of approximately 0°C. The cycle is time-controlled.
TIME-CONTROLLED HARD BLAST COOLING CYCLE: A suitable cycle for cooling foodstuffs with a thickness
of more than 4 cm using a cabinet interior temperature ranging from -30°C to -5°C. The cycle is time-controlled.
TIME-CONTROLLED BLAST FREEZING CYCLE: A cycle suitable for freezing foodstuffs using a cabinet interior
temperature of approximately -30°C. The cycle is time-controlled.
NOTE: After the end of the blast cooling phase the appliance automatically starts the storing phase (+2°C for the
blast cooling cycle; -22°C for the blast freezing cycle). The blast chiller/freezers have no automatic defrosting so a
manual defrosting may be required before starting a blast cooling/freezing cycle.
If a cycle by error has been started and you want to stop it, press the Standby button and a new program can be
selected.

Press the Defrost and Standby keys simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter parameter
programming mode.
The display shows "PASS".
Use the Up and Down keys to scroll through all the user parameters and display the
parameter "P0".
To confirm your selection, press the blast freezing with core temperature probe key.
Use the Up and Down keys to select the new parameter value.
(0 Fahrenheit, 1 Celsius).
Press the blast freezing with core temperature probe key to confirm your selection.
Press the Standby key to exit the selection program.
