Tightening the bar nut
If the bar and chain tensioner handle feel loose, the bar
nut must be tightened to achieve the correct tension
moment in the nut. This so that the bar does not fit loosely.
•
Move the lever to its rear, lower position. Push in the
spring on the chain tensioner handle and turn the bar
nut clockwise by hand.
•
Release the spring. Hold the bar upwards as you
move the handle forward. Note that the arm's
mechanical stop shall not be reached. The stop
ASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTMENTS
prevents the arm from pointing forwards and prevents
cutting.
