A correctly tightened chain should be easy to pull around
by hand.
How to change the chain and rim
CAUTION! If the chain has been used and
!
is refitted it must be fitted in the same
working direction as earlier in order to
reduce segment wear and to obtain full
cutting capacity directly.
The chain must never be fitted the wrong
way round. The raker should guide the
segment at the right height in the cut.
Turn the bar when replacing the chain for maximum bar
life.
