2) Motor protection tripped
3) Defective condenser
4) Jammed shaft or impeller
1) The pump has not been
primed
2) The check valve is not
soaked in pumped fluid
3) The pump sucks air in
4) There is air in the system
5) Clogged foot valve
6) The suction is placed too
high
1) The suction pipe is too
narrow
2) Dirty fluid
1) The power supply does not
match the rating value
2) The impeller is jammed by
foreign matter
3) Excessively thick fluid
REMEDY
1) Verify that voltage is present and that the plug has been correct-
ly inserted
2) Wait for the motor to cool down
3) Replace the condenser
4) Verify the cause and unblock the electropump
1) Prime the pump (see Sect. 5
2) Soak the check valve
3) Make sure all joints are tightly sealed
4) Prime the pump again (see Sect. 5
5) Clean the filter of the foot valve
6) Move the suction down
1) Use a larger diameter suction pipe
2) Clean the filter more often
1) Check the voltage of the power cable wires
2) Disassemble the hydraulics of the pump and clean it thoroughly.
3) The pump is not fit for that use; use a different type of pump
