Filter Replacement
The fresh air filter:
•
Is located on the tubing attached to the upper port on the left-hand
side of the unit
•
Requires periodical replacement
•
Replacement frequency depends on:
•
Frequency of system use
•
Cleanliness of the environment in which the system is operated
NOTE: Pump Alarms may indicate the need to replace the fresh
air filter.
Do not run the unit without the filter in place (even if using a
zero-air cylinder in your installation); otherwise, the valves
and pumps may be damaged.
•
Is disposable.
To Replace the Filter:
1 Pry the tubing off the barb on the filter.
2. Dispose of the old filter.
3. To install the new filter, insert the filter barb into the tubing attached
to the upper port on the left-hand side of the unit.
•
If the system consists of four or more Test Stands, use the high
capacity filter and be sure that the flow arrow indicator points
toward the Test Stand.
Inlet Seal Replacement (Sirius Instrument)
Flow Errors and Calibration Failures may be an indication of a damaged
inlet seal (Sirius model only). To replace the seal:
1. Pry the brass eyelet (collar) upward with a screwdriver blade on
one side, then the other side, until the brass eyelet (collar) is free.
2. The rubber inlet seal can now be removed from the fitting.
3. Place the wider (flared) end of a new inlet seal over the fitting.
4. Slide a new eyelet (collar), flange first, around the seal and push
the eyelet (collar) down until the flange on the eyelet (collar)
contacts the hex surface of the fitting.
