3. Close Test system door. (Skip step for Altair and Altair Pro version)
4. When removing the instrument, it may still be in IR CAL mode.
To exit IR CAL mode:
a. For ALTAIR and ALTAIR Pro instruments,
press the TEST button.
b. For ALTAIR 4 / ALTAIR 4X instruments
and ALTAIR 5 / ALTAIR 5X instruments,
press the right-hand button.
5. Adding a new instrument:
• The first time an instrument is added to the Galaxy System, the
user must confirm instrument information.
• Once this information is entered, it is maintained in the Galaxy
System database.
• The instrument serial number or other identifier is required.
• See FIGURES 3-1, 3-2, 4-1 and 4-2 for flow charts outlining
the necessary procedures.
