Connecting the bus coupler as a final statio

1. Set up the correct pin assignment (see Tab. 5 on page 65)
on the plug connections if you do not use pre-assembled
wiring.
2. Connect the incoming bus connection to X71 (1).
3. Cover the X72 (BUS OUT) socket with a PROFIBUS
terminator plug (see chapter "Spare parts and accessories"
on page 89).
4. Connect the shield on both sides of the bus cable directly to
the plug housing (EMC housing) if non-pre-assembled
cables and plugs with metal housing are used. This protects
data lines from terminal interferences.
Ensure that the plug housing is securely fitted to the bus
coupler housing.

Connecting the bus coupler logic
and load supply
Power is supplied to the valves and the bus coupler via the X10
(POWER)
plug.
When connecting the logic and load supply of the bus coupler,
ensure pin assignment according to Tab. 6.
