Commissioning/Operation
You can open the library of the various components under the
tab Ansicht (View).
1. In the Ansicht (View) menu, select the menu item Bibliothek
(Library).
2. Click on Peripherie/Profibus/Ventile (Periphery/Profibus/
Valves).
The components of the AVENTICS unit are shown.
3. Using the mouse, drag the module BDC-B-DP_32 to the
dotted line in front of the Profibus master.
As it is not a modular device, a module with 4-byte outputs
and und 0-byte inputs will be inserted, according to the GSD
file.
4. Double-click on the module BDC-B-DP_32.
A window will open up where you can type in the Profibus
address of the device. In the E/A Einstellungen (I/O settings)
area, you can set the start address of the output area of the
module.
