Disassembly/exchange

Make sure that the system is not under voltage or
pressure.
O
Observe the stipulated precautionary measures when
working with ESD-sensitive assemblies.
To exchange the bus coupler:
1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the bus
coupler (4).
2. Loosen the bus coupler (2) (2 hexagon socket head screws
DIN 912 – M4 (1), wrench size 3).
3. Remove the bus coupler (2) from the EP end plate (4).
4. Push the new bus coupler (4) onto the EP end plate (4).
5. Also check that the seal (3) is inserted correctly.
6. Tighten the bus coupler (2) (2 hexagon socket head screws
DIN 912 – M4 (1), wrench size 3). Tightening torque:
3.0 + 0.5 Nm.
7. Make all the presettings on the new bus coupler (4) (see
"Making presettings" on page 69).
8. Re-establish the electric connections.
9. Check the configuration and adjust it if necessary (see "Bus
coupler configuration" on page 76).
