b) CHANGE series round rolltop chafing dishes
These chafing dishes are fitted with a brake that does not require to be adjusted in use.
The lid can be locked at 90° and at 180° and can easily be opened when using electric heating.
This plastic bearing has several advantages:
1.
The lid travels in the bearing and the special shape of the plastic part acts as a stop.
2.
This braking action prevents the lid from swinging back noisily.
3.
The bearing allows the lid to be opened and locked at angles of 90° and 180°. The 180° open
position is the limit stop.
NOTE: The lid should be closed smoothly, without jerking, from the 180° open position to avoid
tipping the chafing dish forward.
4.
The plastic bearing is screwed on to the chafing dish frame. If a defect occurs it can simply
be unscrewed and replaced by the customer at any time.
5.
The heating cable is retained by a clip in the plastic bearing and is routed to the front of the
chafing dish (see illustration).
