4.2.2 Installing the gas warning system (pole installation)
On delivery, the layout is "Transmitter viewing direction right, receiver viewing direction left". This layout can be changed.
To do so, the transmitter or receiver, the earth connection and the terminal box have to be mounted on the other side of the
mounting plate. In addition, the instrument cable and the line to the control unit have to be swapped at the terminal box.
Ensure in this process that the screws on the gimbal between the mounting plate and the receiver or the mounting plate and
the transmitter are screwed in downwards from the top (torque: 5 Nm ±1 Nm). The triangular marks on the mounting plate
and on the gimbal must point to each other.
1. Choose a suitable pole mount kit.
2. Mount the component to the pole using the pole mount kit.
