1.5.2 USE NOT INTENDED

DANGER
The machine is NOT SUITABLE for use in environ-
ments where vapors or mixtures of flammable or
explosive gases may develop.
It CANNOT be used within closed or poorly venti-
lated areas.
The standard machine is not designed to be used
on public roads. The standard machine is also
equipped with lights for night use. It's therefore
prohibited the use in these conditions.
DANGER
IT'S STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO TRANSPORT PEOPLE
AND/OR ANIMALS ON THE MACHINE.
ANY USE OTHER THAN THAT FOR WHICH THE
MACHINE WAS DESIGNED AND NOT COVERED IN
THIS MANUAL EXONERATES THE MANUFACTURER
FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES TO
PERSONS, ANIMALS OR THINGS ARISING FROM
SUCH USE.

1.6 PROTECTION AND SAFETY DEVICES

DANGER
The machine has been designed to allow for the safe
use making inoffensive its moving parts through
the installation of fixed and mobile guards and
security devices.
The Manufacturer declines any responsibility in the
event of damage caused as a result of tampering
with the protective and safety equipment.

1.6.1 NOISE RISK

The noise values listed below are emission levels and
are not necessarily safe operating levels. Although
there is a relationship between the emission levels
and the exposure levels, the machine cannot be
used reliably to determine whether or not additional
precautions are necessary. The factors that determine
the level of exposure to which the workers are subject
include the duration of exposure, the characteristics
of the workplace and other sources of noise (number
of machines, adjacent processes, etc.). Furthermore,
the levels of permissible exposure may vary from
Country to Country.
The sound level was detected according to the infor-
mation on the specific Annex to Directive 2000/14 /
EC by a Notified Body according to EN ISO 3746/1996
and the following levels were found:

DANGER
Due to the noise level detected, it's recommended
the use of protective headgear.

1.6.2 VIBRATIONS LEVEL

The vibration level was detected with the engine at full
speed, in accordance with the provisions of Directive
2002/44 /EC on minimum safety and health require-
ments regarding the exposure of workers to the risks
arising from vibrations. It was found: hands/arms
(machine driven by hand) when moving:
- ALIEN 5.0 .................................................4 m/sec
- ALIEN 6.5 ..............................................4.5 m/sec
