•
When lifting or moving the indoor unit, use appropriate slings to avoid
damage and be careful not to damage the insulation material on units
surface.
•
Do not install the indoor unit in a machinery shop or kitchen, where
vapor from oil and its mist can flow into the indoor unit. Oil deposited
on the heat exchanger may reduce the indoor unit performance,
deform the plastic parts, and in the worst case, break the unit.
•
Pay attention to the following points when installing the indoor unit
in a hospital or other facilities where electromagnetic waves are
generated from medical equipment, etc.
a Do not install the indoor unit where the electromagnetic wave
is directly radiated to the electrical box, remote control cable or
remote control switch.
b Install the indoor unit and components at least 3 meters away
from the electromagnetic wave radiator.
c Prepare a steel box and install the remote control switch in it.
Prepare a steel conduit tube and wire the remote control cable
in it. Then, connect the ground wire with the box and the tube.
d Install a noise filter when the power supply emits harmful noises.
e To avoid any corrosive action to the heat exchangers, do not
install the indoor unit in an acid or alkaline environment.
12.2.1 Service space
•
Install the indoor unit with sufficient space around it for
operation and maintenance as shown below.
•
Do not place flammable materials in the service space for
the indoor unit.
•
When equipping the duct adapter (optional), set up a service
access door at the duct adapter side in order to install the
duct adapter. Refer to the installation manual of the duct
adapter for details.
