II - Mechanical installation
Choose the clock location taking into account, for clock connected to a France Inter or DCF
antenna, the quality of the radio synchronizing signal.
The clock shall be away from any sources of electromagnetic interference.
2.1 Getting inside the clock
1) Remove the 2 screws on one side of the clock and pull out the flange.
2) Remove the front transparent cover by sliding it out horizontally.
3) Remove the 4 screws (Style 12e) or the 6 screws (Style 12Se) to carefully remove
the plate and printed circuit assembly.
Warning: there are wires and a ribon cable between this assembly and the metal
casing. Take care to not pull the cables to avoid damaging them.
4) Disconnect the ribon cable.
2.2 Wall mounting
1) Fix the 4 x Ø7 screws (not supplied) and the plugs to the wall according to the appropriate
pattern. Slide the clock over the screws heads using the key hole shapped cut outs and tighten
the screws.
