Initial Operation Safety Instructions
Check the safety devices, operating elements and the screwed joints for damages and firm fit.
Always fuel outdoors and with the engine switched off and cold. Do not smoke at fuelling.
Risk of Explosion and Fire
Never fill the tank up. If a fuel spill occurs, have it evaporate completely before starting the engine. Always
keep it in suitable containers.
If the unit is started indoors, take the unit out immediately after the start.
Never let the unit run in enclosed rooms.
Observe the national/communal regulations of use times.

Procedure
Pull the plug socket (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 23) on the
ignition socket. .
Put the gas lever (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 0) on the
position
Put the choke (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 9) on the position
ON at a cold start.
Pull on the petrol coke.
Put the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 17) in
ON position.
Pull the clutch lever (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 1) (drive).
Pull the cable starter (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 18) slowly
so that some resistance is felt, then pull strong
and fast. Do not le the cable starter go at a
time but let it go slowly.
Return the choke (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 9) to OFF
position smoothly.
To avoid damage of the unit and problems at starting
cause by moisture, let the engine run for several
minutes before switching it of (to dry out).
Let the clutch lever go (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 1) (drive)
Put the gas lever (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 10) in
position.
Close the petrol cock (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 8).
Put the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 2+3/Pos. 17) in
OFF position.
