Additional safety precautions for battery
chargers
•
Keep the charger away from rain or moisture.
The ingress of water into a charger increases
the risk of an electric shock.
•
Charge the Li ion batteries with the voltages
specified in the technical data to avoid the risk
of fire and explosion.
•
Keep the charger clean. Soiling of the charger
poses a risk of an electric shock.
•
Inspect the charger, cable and plug before
every use. Do not use the charger if you notice
any signs of damage. Do not open the charger
yourself and have it repaired only by qualified
personnel and only with OEM spare parts.
Damaged chargers, cables and plugs increase
the risk of an electric shock.
•
Do not operate the charger on easily
combustible surfaces (e.g. paper, textiles, etc.)
or in combustible environments. There is a
risk of fire due to the charger becoming warm
during charging.
•
Supervise children to ensure that they do not
play with the charger.
•
Children and persons who, due to their
physical, sensory or mental abilities or
inexperience or lack of knowledge, are unable
to operate the charger safely must not use this
charger without supervision or instruction by a
responsible person. There is otherwise a risk
of incorrect operation and injury.
