Oil line inspection
1. Check:
• Oil filter
Contaminants → Clean.
Frays/tears → Replace.
• Rubber seal
Cracks/wear → Replace.
• Oil hoses
• Oil tank
• Oil filler cap
Cracks/damage → Replace.
• Check valve
Malfunction → Replace.
CAUTION:
Do not allow the oil tank to become com-
pletely empty. If the oil tank becomes
empty the oil injection pump must be bled
to ensure proper oil flow, otherwise engine
damage may occur. Refer to "OIL PUMP" in
Chapter 4.
