Required tools and auxiliaries
To install the KES-M90-KB-Set or KES-M150-KB-Set connection set correctly, you will need the fol-
lowing tools and aids in addition to the usual tools:
• Torque spanner 4-20 Nm, 1/4 inch
• Socket AF6, 1/4 inch
• External hexagon socket AF13
• Cable cleaner KR M.T.X. (Art no.: 0331010100)
• Lubricating stick GM (Art no.: 0804020000)

Assembly
Clean core drilling/conduit and casing tube. Level out any

chips and/or voids which may be present. Check the diameter
tolerance of core drilling/conduit 200 (+2/-1) mm or 150
(+2/-1) mm and pipe socket (see fig.: 1).

For multiple arrangement of drill holes in concrete
a clearance of min. 100 mm has to be observed.
For smaller clearances with concrete, duct routes
and surface sealings, the operator is responsible
for checking that installation and operation will
be faultless
Push first press seal on casing pipe (without lubrication) (see

fig.: 2) and install both flush with inner wall.
Then push second press seal from the outside over the lubri-
cated tube and install flush with outer wall.
• Pipe end must be fl ush with the wall on inside
of building.
• Do not lubricate the outer sealing surface of the
press seal.
