XR-DC240400B. The charger may only
be operated with a power supply that
has an alternating current of 220–
240 V and a frequency of 50 Hz. Any
use of any other charger or the
charger XR-DC240400B connected to
a power supply other than the one
listed may lead to personal injury and
damages.
The battery packs (4) are not fully
charged at the factory and must be
charged prior to initial use.
To do this, remove the battery pack (4)
from the cordless drill/screwdriver
(Figure 2).
Connect the charging plug (10) of the
mains adapter (9) with the charger (11)
and connect the mains adapter to a
socket (230 V~). (Figure 3)
The red control lamp will light up as
soon as contact is made with the power
supply.
Fit the charger (11) to the battery
pack (4) while paying attention to ensure
that the poles (+/-) are correct.
The green control lamp will light up
when electrical contact is made.
IMPORTANT! If a recently used
up battery is inserted and the
green control lamp does not light
immediately, remove the battery and
start the charging process again a
few minutes later.
The normal charging time is around
3-5 hours. Then press the unlocking
button on the battery pack (4) and
remove the battery pack from the charger.
