The motor pin is slightly wider at one end than the other. The wider section should be placed in the drive shaft
groove, while the narrower section should be oriented towards the hollow shaft of the PL 3 motor.
Position the shaft groove so that it is facing upwards.
Place the motor pin in the shaft groove.
Mount the motor, aligning the pin with the groove in the hollow shaft. Push it on fully. If you encounter
resistance, check that the motor pin is positioned correctly. Put the U-shaped pin in position checking that
it comes out through the bottom of the lower mounting flange.
Junction box:
Using the Ø 8 drill bit, drill the wall above the motor and mount the junction box.
INSTALLING THE CONTROL PANEL
The control panel should be installed in a location protected against bad weather and humidity. Installation
of the control panel in the motor pit is prohibited. First attach the control panel support bracket to the wall,
then attach the control panel. Fix in position using the screws provided for this purpose.
CONTROL PANEL POWER SUPPLY
The French standard C15-100 stipulates that a 30 mA differential circuit breaker must be installed
upstream.
Connect the N, L, E (Neutral, Live, Earth) terminals in the lower right-hand corner of the control panel to
a 220 V + Earth power supply. Clip the ferrite ring around the power cable .
SWITCH BOX :
Connect
- The "0" terminal of the control panel in the lower RH corner of the key switch box using the shunt
already in place.
- The "1" terminal of the control panel in the lower LH corner of the key switch box.
- The "2" terminal of the control panel in the upper RH corner of the key switch box.
Use 3 x 1.5 2 wire for these connections.
CONNECTING THE MOTOR
If the distance between the control panel and the motor is less than 40 m use 2 x 4
than 40 m use 2 x 6 2. wire.
Connect the "+" and "-" terminals of the control panel to the "+" and "-" terminals of the motor junction box.
For the PL3, if the motor is installed on the LH side of the
pool (see opposite) inverse this connection, that is:
- Connect the "+" terminal of the control panel to the "-"
terminal of the PL3 junction box
- Connect the "-" terminal of the control panel to the "+"
terminal of the PL3 junction box
