C. Assembly
1)
Fasten the gasket on the filter attachment.
2)
Fasten the filter attachment to the respiraor body by aligning the bayonet coupling and turning it
counterclockwise a 1/4 a lap until it snaps on.
3)
Check the edge of the inhalation valve. Gently stretch the flap until it slips over the stud.
4)
Push each exhalation valve flap on the valve stud until it 'pops'.
5)
Snap on exhalation valve covers.
6)
Snap on the harness by putting each contoured slot into the plastic swivel and pulling it until it
snaps in.
7)
Perform a fit check. Place the respirator in a clean and dry storage box or other suitable storage
area.
D. Storage
Shelf life for protective elements in unopened packages: Particulate filter 10 years, chemical cartridge
5 years. The expiration date is printed on the label: day, month, year, e.g. 26 Feb 2019.
Store the respirator, filters and cartridges in a clean, cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
The best way to store the mask is in the Sundström storage box SR 230 or storage bag SR 339.
A cartridge which is not used daily must be stored in a tightly sealed plastic bag.
Dispose of a used cartridge or filter in the proper manner.
VII WARRANTY
Supplier warrants to each purchaser of a Product who is an end-user of such Product that the
product is free from defects in material and workmanship, ordinary wear and tear excepted, for
one year from date of purchase by such end-user. Further, Supplier warrants that the Product
conforms to the NIOSH standards in effect on that date of sale. Supplier's sole obligation, and
each end-users sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, shall be limited to replacement
of any Product covered by this warranty which provides in violation of such warranty during the
period of effectiveness thereof. The warranty shall not apply to any Product which has been
altered, misused, subjected to an accident, used contrary to Supplier's specifications and
recommendations or used beyond it's useful life or to any Product whose packaging has been
altered or opened prior to purchase by the end-user. Supplier makes no representations or
warranties concerning the application or effect of any international, federal, state or local laws,
ordinances, rules or regulations which may now or hereafter pertain to the use or operation of
the Product. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS PARAGRAPH, SUPPLIER MAKES NO
REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, NATURE OR DESCRIPTION, EXPRESSED
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FIT-
NESS OF ANY OF THE PRODUCTS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT,
AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS THE SAME.
In order to assert your rights under this warranty, please return the Product to your vendor
together with a written description of the alleged defect and proof of purchase. Your distributor
will forward the Product to Supplier for analysis of the validity of your claim.
