Safety advice for the adjustments
Adjustment work must be carried out with the work
vehicle on flat, compact ground, with the machine
resting on the ground (except where expressly stat-
ed otherwise in the manual).
Adjusting the conveyor
Adjust the conveyors to vary the amount of crops al-
lowed to pile up.
Carry out the operations described.
1) Use the handwheel (A).
The more the flap (B) is rotated, the more crop is ac-
cumulated in the windrow and vice versa.
2) Carry out the same procedure to adjust the other
flap.
Adjusting the cutting disc
Adjust the disc to cut the crop's roots and foliage.
Correct adjustment improves the inflow of the crop and
increases the working life of the conveyor.
The manufacturer recommends a cutting depth of ap-
proximately 10÷15 cm.
CAUTION
Proceed with the utmost caution.
Clumsy operation may cause injury to the operator
due to cutting disc lowering unexpectedly.
Carry out the operations described.
1) Lift the machine up by the minimum required to car-
ry out the procedure safely.
2) Loosen the screws (A).
3) Loosen the screws (B).
4) Manually raise or lower the cutting disc (C) as need-
ed.
5) Tighten the screws (B).
6) Tighten the screws (A).
7) Repeat the same procedure for the other disk.
