Mount the accessory parts
Connecting Storz-B coupling
Connect the Storz-B coupling to the riser pipe/disposal pipe provided by the customer.
If the Storz-B coupling is to be positioned at some distance outside the building, the KESSEL disposal chamber (acces-
sory) can be used for this.
4.7.1
Connecting the remote signal generator
Install the remote signal generator (Art. No. 20162) as described in the separate instructions enclosed with the unit and
connect to the power source.
The control cable must be connected to the terminal block (g) at the grease separator's control unit. See connection dia-
gram in chapter "Establishing electrical connections", page 33.
4.7.2
Installing the remote control
Make drillholes in suitable position (distance L = 168
mm).
Install plugs and screws so that the head of the screw
protrudes by 3-4 mm (1).
Hook remote control into openings (2) provided.
Install electrical connections as shown in the connec-
tion diagram (see "Establishing electrical connections",
page 33).

Further connection possibilities
TeleControl GSM modem
Mount the TeleControl modem (art. no. 28792) as described in the corresponding installation instructions 434-033.
Routing the USB connection out
To ensure that the USB connection on the printed board can be accessed without opening the housing, a USB housing
socket with cable and connector for installation in the housing of the control unit can be ordered from KESSEL (art. no.
28785).
Potential-free contact (optional accessory)
If required, signal generators or other accessories can be connected as potential-free contacts (42 V 0.5 A). The following
terminals are available for these:
Warning (event is displayed - e.g. relay operating cycles exceeded)
Fault (fatal error - e.g. in electrical connection or safety systems)
In the event of a warning, the operating reliability of the system is usually not immediately at risk; however, the system
should be subjected to maintenance or checking by a competent person without delay. In the event of a fault, the function of
the system can be directly impaired, there is a need for direct action. Contact the service technician or emergency service.
Select accessory part (e.g. warning beacon Art. No. 97715) and attach in required location. Connect to the control unit as fol-
lows:
Make the connection as shown in the connection diagram.
Lead out the cable on the right-hand underside of the control unit. Replace existing blind plugs with rubber cable pas-
sages.
