MAINTENANCE

7.1 After starting up the plant, it is advisable to inspect and clean it, especially the no return valve, about
every three months. This interval may be increased after the first inspections have given a favourable
outcome.
7.2 Clean the pump accurately, removing any foreign bodies stuck in the intake grille and check that the
float moves freely. If necessary, remove the pump from the tank.
7.3 To take out the pump, release it from the delivery duct, unscrewing the two ring nuts of the elbow
connections (161a).
7.4 It is recommended to clean the system at least once a year with running water, operating the pump
repeatedly.
7.5 To guarantee good operation of the breather filter (42), it must be cleaned at least every six months
with soap and water.
