Cause and/or solution
No power supply.
Fuse burnt out (Fig. 28).
Power cable not properly connected.
Switch power on (Fig. 11).
Front cover not fitted correctly (Fig. 31).
Tray not assembled or incorrectly assembled (Fig.32).
Side covers not fitted correctly (Fig. 31).
Containers/chutes incorrectly positioned.
Basket incorrectly positioned.
Overheating motor.
See section SAFETY SYSTEMS.
Check if the fruit is frozen.
Check for piled-up fruit peels inside the juice tray.
Check if balls are correctly tightened.
Check to see if the fruit peels are stuck to the inside of the cups.
Check if components of different squeezing sets are mixed.
For the Z40 Nature Garnetfruit model or for an use with
pomegranates, remove the washers under the balls.
To unblock the machine, use the 5mm Allen key located at the right
of the lower lid. Insert it into the hole on the right side and, with the
machine switched off, turn anticlockwise until the cups are raised,
removing the obstruction. WARNING: Make sure the Allen key is
removed before switching the machine on.
Cup nuts are too loose.
Balls are loose.
A piece of fruit peel is preventing the movement of the pulp scraper
filter.
The filter set has been assembled in reverse. Check that the drive
shaft dovetails properly with the hexagonal actuator (Fig. 22-23).
The ball washers (which are placed underneath the balls) are
missing.
Fruit peel is too thin. Place one extra washer under each ball.
Fruit is too big for the fruit classifier in use.
Check the position of the lower fruit classifier (Fig. 7).
Fruit is too small for the fruit classifier in use.
Check the position of the lower fruit classifier (Fig. 8).
Hopper not properly assembled. See cleaning the feeder in section
cleaning.
