6.6. STAND BY
The machine has a stand-by power-saving system which is activated automatically after 5
minutes. When the machine is on Stand-By, the display light goes out and all the icons except
the one for the machine are disabled.
To exit this situation, press any of the three buttons on the plate.
To deactivate the Stand By, repeat the 7.2. section process by entering the code 8024.
To activate, repeat the process by entering the code 8023.
6.7. CLEANING
The machine squeezing area and parts* must be cleaned daily.
* For the Z40 Nature Garnetfruit model or an use with pomegranates, it is recommended to clean
this zone every 50Kg of squeezed fruit.
•
If the machine is in operation, stop it always using the Programmer button Stop. Never
attempt to stop the machine using the main switch. Failure to follow this recommendation will
cause the machine to stop in a position that impedes cleaning; possibly leading to breakage
of parts due to poor handling.
•
Disconnect the machine turning the power switch off (Fig. 11). Then the digital display will
turn off (Fig. 12).
•
Remove one of the side panels, activating the locking system and gently pulling the back
section upwards (Fig. 13).
•
Remove the cover by dismantling it from the remaining side section (Fig. 14) and clean it with
a damp cloth moistened in a neutral soapy solution (IMPORTANT! NEVER use abrasive
products which might scratch it).
•
Remove the remaining side section as before.
•
Unscrew the nuts of the shafts of the tray and pull outwards horizontally to remove the Self
Service Adapt tray and the filter (Fig. 15).
•
Disassemble the Self Service Advanced tap of the Self Service Adapt tray pressing the side
hooks and pushing down, for clean inside of the parts.
•
For Service models remove the tank with its filter to get access to the nuts fixing the squeezer
tray.
•
Remove the squeezer tray, blade and cups simultaneously. To do so, gently unscrew the nuts
securing the cups and, using them as supports, pull outwards and they will come loose so
they can be removed easily.
•
Unscrew the nuts of the tray shafts and pull outwards horizontally to remove all the parts
(Fig. 16).
•
For a very thorough clean, unscrew the balls inside the squeezer tray (Fig. 17); underneath
them there should be a washer. You can either put these parts in a dishwasher or wash them
by hand. TAKE GREAT CARE WITH THE BLADE (Fig. 3) as it is very sharp and could cause
cuts.
•
Clean the front and the basket with a damp cloth.
Important Notice:
