Installation to cool
• In order to use the cooling function, you do not need to connect the
water drainage hose. Check that the sealing caps of the water drainage
connections are in place.
• Install the fabric window seal on the window, see description below.
SEALING YOUR WINDOWS
Note: Install the air conditioner only after you have sealed your windows.
This prevents the warm air discharged by the air conditioner from blowing
back into the house.
This type of window sealing is not suitable for tilt windows.
1. Velcro for the window frame
Clean the window and the window frame using cleaning agents or dish
wash soap to make them free of dust and grease. Subsequently cut the
Velcro to size and stick it to the window frame all around the window.
2. Velcro for the window
Subsequently stick the Velcro completely around the window. Watch out
that you don't stick it on the glass.
3. Sealing the window frame
Stick the narrow side of the window sealer on the Velcro attached to the
window frame. Start working from the centre and stick the narrow side
completely around the window frame.
4. Sealing the window
Put the window ajar and stick the wide side of the window sealer on the
Velcro attached to the window. Leave sufficient space in the corners to
prevent jamming the window sealer.
5. Opening the window seal
Open the window seal approx. 50 centimetres using the zipper of the
window seal.
