NOTA BENE: if Command 55 is programmed at the first level of the menu, steps "one", "two" and "eight" will
be available.
Programming at the second level is normally done when the kit is installed, every time one or more price
display bars are installed, or when the drawer configuration is changed.
To change the prices, follow the instructions given in the use and maintenance manual. Every time the prices
are changed, when you close the door they are automatically updated on the display bar screen.
Step one: the system requires enabling of the functions: 1 = enabled; 0 = not enabled. If the connection
between the price display and the display control board is not interrupted, the checksum and software version
of the board appear on the display; to continue the setting of the other steps, press button "ENTER".
Step two: next you are requested to indicate on which drawers the price bar display is installed. Confirm the
presence for each drawer (1 = present: 0 = not present). Drawer 1 refers to the first one from the top. The
request covers all the configurations up to a maximum of 7 drawers.
Step three: on the door display, a request appears, for each drawer, to allocate the corresponding address
allocation to each price display bar.

Press the button on the price display bar located on the right hand side, as highlighted in the figure. At each
allocation you will hear a beep to indicate that the allocation has been successful.
Step four: the system asks you of you wish to change the machine configuration (e.g. from single spiral to
double spiral). Press "ESC" if the configuration remains as it is, press "ENTER" if you wish to change it.
Step five: set the number of selections present in the vending machine (number of motors).
Step six: the system visualises the set configuration on the display bars. If the configuration is correct, press
"ESC", otherwise by pressing "ENTER" you can set the tray among the various options proposed:
a ) standard tray, with single or double selection (with the condition that on the selections with a double
spring, the connection to the Spirals gear must be carried out on the odd indices).
b ) special sandwich tray
c ) custom, defined by the user
The choice of the above options is made by pressing any key of the button panel except ESC and ENTER.
Press ENTER to confirm.
Step seven: the system asks if the product support (bridge) is present for each selection with single spiral.
Command 56 Setting visualisation options on the price displays (if present) :
Step one: for every price display bar, you must establish the value of the back-lighting: value 3 maximum
luminosity; value 2 luminosity 75%; value 1 luminosity 50% and value 0 luminosity 25%.
Step two: option to modify the contrast of the price display bar. Default value 9; this can be set from 1 to 16.
To increase the contrast, press button 1 on the button panel, and to decrease the contrast, press button 2.
Step three: option to visualise the description of the product in every selection when the door is opened.
Value 1 = function enabled; Value 0 = function not enabled. Default value = 1.
Step four: option for the visualisation of when the machine is in stand-by, the description of the alternating
with the visualisation of the price. Value 1 = function enabled; Value 0 = function not enabled. Default value =
0.
