Operation

Connect the machine to a suitable power source according to
the specifi cation plate on the machine. If the electrical cord
on the machine becomes damaged it should be replaced.
Th e fi lter should be cleaned 1-2 times per day with conti-
nuous running or if the machine is equipped with a fi lter
monitor, when this is in the red area.
For fi lter cleaning:
1. Start the machine.
2. Close the shutter valve on the machines inlet.
3. With slow, even motion open the pulse top by lifting
the handle. Repeat three to six times.
4. Open the shutter valve.
5. If the fi lter condition meter reads green work can con-
tinue, if in the red, pulse clean again. If after several
repetitions, the fi lter condition still shows red the fi ne
fi lter must be changed.

Service

With cleaning and maintenance on the machine, the power
cable should be disconnected from the supply.
Th e fi ne fi lter should be changed at least once per year.
Use only original spare parts. If the machine is used with
a microfi lter/HEPA fi lter, this should be changed every
300 running hours, article number 4422. Use breathing
protection when changing the fi lter. Used fi lters should be
sealed in a plastic sack and disposed of properly.
Check regularly that the electrical cable is not damaged.
Th e DC 5800c 9.2/11 kW S should be performance tested
at least once per year because it may be used with hazardous
materials. Worn parts must be replaced.
Never compromise the function of the
DC 5800c 9.2/11 kW S, use only original spare parts.
Th e pump should be inspected and lubricated at least once
a year.
1. Start the pump and listen for abnormal sound.
2. Shut off the pump and lock out the electrical ser-
vice.
3. Th e turbopumps bearings should be lubricated
with lithium based bearing grease, art nr 9683.
- Th e back bearing should be lubricated by remo-
ving the fi nned bearing cover plate.
Th e plastic sack should be changed only after the fi lter has
been cleaned. Th e sack should be changed when the dust
level is about 5 cm under the foot valve. Th e plastic sack
should be sealed after removal from the machine.
Use only original plastic sacks.
- Check the condition of the grease. Fill the cavity
2/3 full with new grease.
- Exchange the O-ring, art nr 4789 and replace
the bearing cover plate.
4. Inspect all cables and connections, repair if
neccessary.
