Switching on/off via the vehicle
ignition
If the device is connected to the vehicle's
ignition and you did not switch the device off
by pressing the On/Off button D , it is
switched on or off with the vehicle ignition.

Setting the switch-off time (HOUR)

f Press the MENU G button to open the
menu.
f Press the MENU G button repeatedly
until "HOUR" appears on the display along
with the current setting.
f Turn the volume control B to the left or
right in order to set the switch-off time to
between 1 and 60 minutes.
In order to leave the menu,
f press the MENU G button, repeatedly if
necessary.

Adjusting the volume

You can adjust the system volume in incre-
ments from 0 (off) to 32 (maximum).
f To increase the system volume, turn the
volume control B clockwise.
f To reduce the system volume, turn the
volume control B counterclockwise.

Mute (MUTE)

To mute the system volume abruptly,
f briefly press the D button.

Canceling mute

To return to your previously set volume level,
f briefly press the D button again.

Microphone mode

You can connect one microphone to the
device.

Starting microphone mode (MIC)

f Switch on the microphone.
"MIC" appears in the display.
The microphone announcement is outputted
over the radio's loudspeakers.
Adjusting the volume of the micro-
phone announcement
To adjust the volume,
f turn the volume control B while
microphone mode is active.
Note:
The microphone volume that was set
last remains stored in the memory.
