Maintenance
Observe EN 12056-4 for maintenance.
7.1
Maintenance interval
A maintenance date can be set at the control unit.
If the maintenance date has arrived, this is indicated by a plain text message on the display.
According to standard specifications, maintenance must be carried out at the following intervals:
Quarterly for systems in commercial operations
Every six months for systems in apartment buildings
Annually for systems in single-family homes
Visual inspection
The system must be checked once every month by the operator through observation of two switching cycles for opera-
tional ability and leak-tightness.
7.2
Maintenance work
VORSICHT
Before opening the system tank, ensure the room is
sufficiently ventilated. Keep sources of ignition away
and do not smoke.
Make sure that the pump(s) are at ambient temper-
ature.
VORSICHT
Inlet and outlet pipes must be emptied and pres-
sure-less before work is started. The fill level in the
system tank must be located below the fixing level
(pump flange) of the pumps.
Aggressive cleaning agents can damage seals. Use hot
water and a brush for cleaning work.
Prepare the system for maintenance
Close the inlet and/or make sure that no wastewater can
flow in.
Pump the system empty.
Either
Fill with water until pump 1 starts to run.
Switch off water feed. The pump runs until the "mini-
mum" level is reached.
Or
Actuate the pump via the control unit (manual control)
until the tank is empty.
VORSICHT
