Operation
6.1
Switching on the system
All backflow preventers must be functional during operation.
During operation, the shut-off valve must always be open and locked with a valve lock.
Turn main switch (1) to I (ON) position.
Following a successful system test, the system informa-
tion appears on the display (2) and the green LED (3)
lights up.
The control unit is ready for operation.
Various operating states with text are shown on the dis-
play.
All the system parameters can be retrieved via menu 1
(see the control unit operating manual).
The fill level in the system tank is shown in mm on the
display (0 means it is below the measurable height).
6.2
Alarm statuses
If a status occurs which triggers an alarm (e.g. error on a
pump, fill level of the wastewater reaches alarm level), the
alarm LED (4) lights up.
A plain text fault message may be shown on the display.
After rectifying the cause of the alarm, acknowledge this
by pressing the button (5).
To switch off the acoustic alarm: Press button (5) 1x.
To acknowledge the alarm: Press button (5) 1x and keep
it pressed for > 5 seconds.
6.3
Actuating pumps manually
Briefly press the button for the respective pump (5) or (6).
Manual operation is switched on.
Briefly press the button again, the pump runs for approx.
5 seconds.
If the button is pressed for longer, the pump continues
running until the button is released again.
6.4
Switching off the system
Turn main switch (1) to O (OFF) position.
An alarm signal is sounded and the alarm LED (4)
flashes.
Keep the button (5) pressed until the alarm symbol on the
display is shown crossed out.
Alarm signal is switched off.
Keep the button (5) pressed until the display and the
alarm LED are switched off.
The system is switched off.
