THE ENGINE CORRECTLY RUNS WHEN IDLE BUT SPUTTERS WHEN LOADED:
Engine speed is too low.
WHITE EXHAUST SMOKE APPEARS FROM THE ENGINE:
Engine overloaded
Not enough combustion air
Incorrect fuel (Diesel) used
Faulty fuel injection pump
Incorrect engine valve clearance
BLACK EXHAUST SMOKE APPEARS FROM THE ENGINE:
Incorrect fuel (Diesel) used
Faulty fuel injection pump
Incorrect fuel injection time
Engine burns engine oil
THE PUMP IS MEETING THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS :
•
No pressure rise;
•
Intermittent pressure;
The pump sucks up air.
Input water is blocked.
The suction hose is pinched.
Leak on suction or discharge hose
NOTE
If the pump still cannot start, please contact the IMER France dealer or the nearest After-Sales
Service to get information and to be instructed with measures to take.
Move speed control to RUN (FAST) position.
Reduce the load
Clean or replace the air filter
Use specified fuel (see page 37)
