3. PRE OPERATION CHECKS
■ Make sure you have read all the warnings to prevent any risk of fire.
■ Make sure there is no flammable or hazardous material next to the pump.
■ Keep away from any naked flame. Do not smoke.
■ Install the pump at least 1 meter away from any building.
■ Never block the air flow of the pump with paper or any other material.
■ Only use the pump outdoors.
3.1. SUPPLIED ACCESSORIES
The following accessories are supplied with your pump:
•
2 hose connectors [(a) Fig. 01] composed:
- 1 lock nut;
- 1 hose connection sleeve;
- 1 sealing washer.
•
3 hose clamps; [(b) Fig. 01]
•
1 strainer; [(c) Fig. 01]
•
1 instruction manual [(d) Fig. 01]
•
1 battery;
•
1 paire of battery cables;
•
1 electrolyte bottle.
3.2. CHECK OIL ENGINE LEVEL
■ Never remove the dipstick of the oil sump when the engine is running.
■ Never fill the oil sump up when the engine is running or hot.
■ Never smoke when filling the oil sump up or if, in the vicinity, there are naked flames or if any
other conditions are met to start a fire.
Make sure the pump is on a stable and flat surface.
1.
Unscrew and remove the oil filling dipstick plug [(b) Fig. 02];
2.
To check the oil level, clean the dipstick plug gauge, using a clean cloth and fit the oil plug back.
Do not screw it to check the oil level;
3.
If the oil level is less than the bottom level [(d) Fig. 03], fill the oil sump with correct oil [Fig. 05]
up to the top mark [(c) Fig. 03].
