NOTE
Replace the oil as soon as it is contaminated (see the MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS).
RECOMMENDED ENGINE OIL
Prefer using Motul 4100 TURBOLIGHT 15W-40 or an SE class (API classification) equivalent oil or
an upper grade oil.
We recommend using SAE 10W-30 or 15W-40 oils, for general use and all temperatures. If you use
a single grade oil, select the correct viscosity for an average ambient temperature, depending on the
season [Fig. 05].
3.3. LOW OIL PRESSURE SECURITY
Models SWT 120 D and JET 100 D are equiped with a Low oil pressure security. This security system
is provided to prevent any risk of damage to the engine by a lack of oil pressure. As soon as the oil
pressure reaches a safety limit, the oil warning system automatically stops the engine (the engine
switch will remain in the «ON» position). In this case, as long as the oil pressure is not restored,
despite the actions on the contact system, the engine will not start.
3.4. CHECK FUEL LEVEL (DIESEL)
■ Never open the fuel tank cap when the engine is running or still hot.
■ Never fill the tank when the engine is running or still hot.
■ Do not refuel while smoking or near naked flame or other such potential fire hazards. Otherwise
fire accident may occur.
□ Always fill up the tank in the open air.
□ Do not overfill the tank. Leave enough space so that the fuel can evaporate.
1. Always install the pump on a flat and stable floor;
2. Open the tank cap [Fig. 06];
3. Control the fuel level (DIESEL). If the fuel (DIESEL) level is too low, top up using the convenient
fuel (DIESEL) of the pump.
