NOTE
For SWT 120 D and JET 100 D, the battery must have a minimum 11.5 V load voltage to start the
engine with electric start.
RECOIL START (MANUAL)
Model RD 75 and SWT 75 D be start with recoil start system.
The following instructions apply to each starting:
Turn the key switch to ON position [Fig. 17];

Put the speed control lever to RUN position [Fig. 20];

Slightly pull the Recoil starter rope until it becomes a bit difficult. This is the "compression" point.
Let the rope coil back to its initial position [Fig. 21];

Push the decompression lever to the starting position [Fig. 22];

Then pull rapidly the Recoil starter, the decompression lever goes to its original location [Fig. 23].
□ Do not fully pull the rope out and do not suddenly release it. Handle it gently until it is reeled in.
Once the engine has started, move the speed control to SLOW (IDLE) position [Fig. 19];

Let the engine run, idle, for 1 minutes.

6. USING
NOTE
The flow of the pump is controlled by adjusting the engine speed. The flow rate is increased by
moving the speed control to RUN (FAST) position. The flow rate is reduced by moving the speed
control to SLOW (IDLE) position [Fig. 19].
Once the engine has started:
For self-priming, place speed control to RUN (FAST) position [Fig. 15];
