10. Maintenance and Storage
Moisture in the compressed air will rust the air motor so you should lubricate with air
tool oil after approximately 2 hours of continuous use and at the end of each use.
For best service you should incorporate a regulator, moisture separators, in-line
oiler and filter into the piping system. When performing maintenance, disconnect the
hose coupling and turn OFF the air supply.

b) Cleaning
• To eliminate air restriction strainers e.g. at the air inlet bushing (A9) must be kept clean and
free of obstructions.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
c) Storage
• Avoid storing the tool in a location subject to high humidity and be aware of dust, humidity,
dew and freezing temperatures.
• To help prevent moisture inside the impact wrench from causing rust, keep the impact wrench
oiled before storing for extended periods of time.

• If you are using the impact wrench without an airline oiler, first
disconnect the impact wrench from the air supply and remove the
tip tool.
• Hold it so the air inlet faces up (A9).
• Hold the trigger down (A3) and apply a few drops of pneumatic tool
oil through the air inlet. Holding the trigger helps the oil circulate.
• Connect the impact wrench to the air supply, cover the exhaust
port (A4) with a towel and run for a few seconds.
