• Tighten the nut as far as you can by hand.

• Place the socket over the nut.
• Hold the handle (A8) firmly and place other hand on top of the impact wrench, over the
hammer case (A2).
• Gently squeeze the trigger (A3).
• Release the trigger after the nut or bolt is tightened or loosened.

9. Cold Weather Tips

Low temperatures can affect the performance of your pneumatic impact wrench and cause
damage. Here are some things you can do:
• Use high grade pneumatic tool oil that contains anti-freeze for cold weather lubrication. It is
important to note the manufacturer recommendations on working temperatures when using
this type of oil.
• Make sure moisture from condensation is kept out of the air supply. Do not keep the
compressor in a warm area and run the air hose outside. If the warm air creates frost inside
the cold hose it will restrict air flow.
• Keep the impact wrench as warm as possible, keeping frost off of both the air intake to the
compressor and the exhaust port (A4) on the impact wrench.
• If you store your impact wrench in a cold area but will use it in a warm area, allow warming
up before using.
• Align the pinholes of the socket to the
anvil (A1) and press them together.
• Never attach when the device is idling.
• Connect the impact wrench to the air
compressor.
