Run the loop in the forestay into the small eye, fit the cord through the eye on the opposite side, and
then into one of the holes in the annular clamp. Insert a loop of the cord in the opposite hole, then
tie the cords together lightly. Position the shroud tensioner centrally between the two eyes, tighten
the knot fully, and secure the knot with a drop of cyano.

The whole rig should now be placed under tension in
such a way that the mast curves slightly towards the
stern. Use the two clamp brackets to adjust the sails
so that they adopt a slight belly under wind pressure.
Adjust the depressor on the main boom in such a
way that the sail is smooth and free of creases, then
tighten the locknut to maintain this setting.
