3.3 Initial settings

When using the machine for the first time, you will be asked to confirm several settings. Follow
the instructions displayed on the screen.
Confirming the settings
Important: The appliance must be plug-

ged in but not switched on.
Press simultaneously the Service button
(8) and the "Strong button (5).
The "water tank" indicator light (9) lights

up.
☞ Lift the cup grid by pressing the rear to tilt
it (22).
At the front right hand side is the digital
display for the initial setting of the para-
meters.

Note: The digital display is slightly set
back in a recess.
The digital display indicates the degree of
hardness preset in the factory (i.e. 3).
Press the "Strong" button several times

to set the water hardness to the correct
value (determine the value beforehand as
described in point 3.1 of these instruc-
tions).
Press the Steam button (2).
