5.4 The long rinsing cycle

Before using for the first time or in case of
unusual low flow, the appliance detects it
and warns you by flashing "clean" and
"calc" lights.
☞ Remove, fill and fit the tank.
☞ Place a recipient with a capacity of at
least 0.15 l under the coffee tubes and
steam nozzle.
☞ Run the long rinsing programme by pressing the "Service" button.
The "clean" and "calc" indicator lights will remain lit.
☞ When the long rinsing programme is finished, the "clean" and "calc" indicator lights will be
extinguished
General maintenance guidelines
Pass the cleaning drawer (12), the drip tray
(27) and the used coffee collector (11)
under running water. Use washing up liquid if
required. Rinse the water tank (14) in clean
water.

6 Troubleshooting

If your machine is not operating correctly,
try to resolve it by referring to this trou-
bleshooting guide. If the problems persist
in spite of this, contact our hotline (see

Clean the body of the appliance and its parts
