7.3.1 Disinfection: Manual external disinfection

Faro recommends the following products based on material compatibili‐
ty. The microbiological efficacy must be ensured by the disinfectant man‐
ufacturer.
▪ Mikrozid AF Liquid made by Schülke & Mayr
▪ FD 322 made by Dürr
▪ CaviCide made by Metrex
Consumables required:
▪ Cloths for wiping off the medical device.
