Remove the threaded knobs (4) from the trapeze mount assembly (5). From the head end
of the bed, slide the trapeze mount assembly (5) over the horizontal part of the lifting poles.
Ensure that the holes in the top plate are located over the four projecting pegs located on
top of the lifting poles. Secure threaded knobs (4) to the trapeze mount assembly (5).

Insert the lifting poles into each socket (1) at the
head end of the bed, with the horizontal part of
the pole above the center of the bed.
Twist the pole so that the notch (2) locates over

the pin at the bottom of the socket.
When the lifting pole is correctly installed, the
indicator line (3) will be level with the top of the
socket.
To adjust the height of the handle above the

bed: press desired chain loop onto the "s" hook
provided.
After use: remove the trapeze mount assembly,
lift the poles out of the sockets and store the
accessory away from the bed.
Do not adjust the chain while a patient
is holding the handle.
Do not twist the chain through more
than 180° as this may cause premature
wear.
