Model ENT-ACC101 is a lifting pole intended to assist patients in positioning themselves
on the bed. ENT-ACC101 is supplied with an adjustable chain and handle, and is suitable
for use with ArjoHuntleigh Citadel Plus Bariatric Care System.
Do not exceed the Safe Working Load of 150kg (330 lbs.)
Do not use the lifting poles to push or pull the bed.
Do not suspend other equipment from the lifting poles.
Only use the recommended chain and handle assembly, i.e.
part number 20969.
The lifting poles must be used as a set for proper use of ENT-ACC101.
Refer to the bed instructions for use to confirm compatibility before using
this accessory.
The lifting poles must be positioned so that the handle assembly hangs
over the middle of the bed.
Do not allow the chain and handle assembly to hang
outside the perimeter of the bed.
To reduce the risk of patient entrapment, the head end
panel must remain fitted at all times while the lifting poles
are installed on the bed.
The bed should not be occupied by a patient while the
lifting poles are being fitted.
Before installing the lifting poles, check that the bed's lifting pole sockets
are not damaged in any way.
Ensure that the lifting poles and handle assembly are positioned to suit the
size and medical needs of the patient.
The chain and handle assembly must not be used by persons under twelve
years of age.
Inspect the chain, handle assembly and trapeze mount assembly regularly.
If any sign of wear or damage is found, remove it from use immediately and
replace the complete unit.
