with an authorisation class or a range of
authorisation classes.
PASSWORD - To block use of the player
With this option a password can be entered so as to
restrict access to the player by others.
• Select CHANGE and confirm by pressing
• Enter the old password using the number buttons.
The factory-set password is: 3308.
• Now enter a new four-digit password in the second
field and confirm it by re-entering it in the next
field.
• Quit the password entry menu by pressing
ENTER

DEFAULTS - To return the player to its original
settings
Select RESET and confirm your selection by pressing
EN TER
to return the DVD player to its factory
settings.
This function should be used in the following
situations:
- On setting up the player for the first time or
reinstalling it if all of the cables have been
connected.
- If pressing the buttons fails to select any functions.
- If an error symbol is displayed.
