Conductor connection to spring clamp terminals
▶
Cut-away with spring clamp terminals with capacity of 2 x 18 to 2 x 12 AWG (1).
▶
Open the spring clamp terminal with a screwdriver (blade – 0.6 x 3.5 mm/0.02 x 0.14 inch)
by inserting it into the square cut-out and hold the clamp open (2).
▶
Insert the conductor into one of the rounded openings (3).
▶
Remove the screw driver (4).
Closing the terminal cap
▶
Push the terminal cap onto the contact block until it locks into position.
▶
Push the cable towards the cable gland.
▶
Tighten the screw connection nut with approx. 1.2 Nm/11 inch. lbs. torque.
Mounting the device into the panel
▶
Insert the lamp actuator (1) into the installation wall (3) and secure it in place.
Ensure that the seal (2) is seated precisely when doing so.
▶
Insert the indicator lamp from the reverse side into the lamp actuator (1).
Ensure that the indicator lamp and lamp actuator (1) are secured in the installation wall (3).
▶
Use the threaded nut (4) to tighten the lamp actuator (1) against the installation wall (3)
(tightening torque for the threaded nut: 2.5 Nm/0.28 lb/inch).
▶
Position the actuator cap with the desired luminous colour.
