9.2
Press the "automatic switching device" button to switch off this function.
The green LED extinguishes.
The automatic switching device is activated independent of the STECOM-Alarm-System being
armed or disarmed.
It is irrelevant if the switching sockets are switched on or off when the automatic switching
device switches on.
It is not practical when the automatic switching device is activated, to switch the switching
sockets 1 and 2 on and off via the manual remote control, as the automatic switching device
has taken over control. Switching sockets that were switched on, will be switched off by the
automatic switching device.
Note:
o If you have a parallel control unit, the automatic switching device can be switched on and off
alternately. The level of daylight is however, still determined by the main control unit (refer to
chapter 13)

THE REMOTE SWITCHING ON/OFF OF APPLIANCES
10.1
Remote switching on/off via the control unit
You can switch the switching sockets and alarm switch on and off by pressing the corre
sponding button (1- 4) on the control unit. When the switching socket or alarm switch is
off, the corresponding control LED is constantly lit, and when they are switched on, the
LED's flash.
This form of remote switching of the appliances, operates independent of the STECOM-
Alarm-System being armed or disarmed.
The remote switching of an appliance occurs with a short time lapse of a few seconds.
The appliances do not switch on or off immediately in the same way that a light switch
operates. This is due to the complex transmission via the main power supply.
10.2
Remote switching via the motion detector
The motion detector assumes the function of a light switch and automatically switches a
light source or appliance connected to the switching socket on for 3 minutes.
You must determine which switching socket is switched on by which motion detector.
Select the switching socket which is to be activated:
Keep the "automatic switching device" button on the control unit pressed. The green
LED's next to the keys extinguish. If they remain lit, they show already existing "links".
Now press simultaneously one of the buttons 1 to 4, to select the switching socket(s).
The corresponding green LED illuminates.
If you wish to disconnect a switching socket from another connection, press the corresponding
button, the LED should then extinguish.
Release the "automatic switching device". The switching socket(s) selection is complete.
You must now select which motion detector should switch on the selected switching socket(s)
Press one of the buttons 1 to 4 within the next 45 seconds. Selection is now complete.
