1. SIBELMED calibration syringes are not intended for direct
or indirect connection to patients (or animals) for purposes of
conducting diagnostic tests or for ventilation or generation of
pressure-volume curves by insufflations of a patient's (or animal)
lungs. There are no safety mechanisms built into the syringes and
the inside of the syringes cannot be disinfected without damage.
2. Do not attempt to sterilize these calibration syringes.
3. Do not disassemble this product and avoid liquid or dirt to get
inside of it. Contact SIBEL S.A.U., for information on spare parts,
recalibration or after sales service.
4. Do not operate at temperatures outside 5 to 40 °C range.
5. Potential hazard of incorrect calibration of diagnostic flow,
volume transducer or device being calibrated.
6. Potential body injury if the syringe rolls, falls from the table
or is used in a wrong way (avoid putting the fingers in the pistol
travel range when moving the piston)
7. Potential contamination hazard of syringe from hospital or other
contaminants. Devices to be calibrated with a syringe must be
disinfected in order to prevent the syringe being contaminated.
8. The disposal of this product must be carried out in conformity
with CE 1272 /2008
9. Storage conditions must be observed.
10. If you find any damage to the packaging, please contact the
shipping agent and your dealer immediately prior to installing
or using the syringe. Do not get rid of the packaging until the
proper operation of the syringe is verified.
Report any serious incident to the manufacturer and competent
authority.
