Installation

Connect the DMT supply voltage
WARNING!
Maximum operating voltage 30 volts
Cause: The device is only designed for use with operating voltages ≦ 30 volts
Consequence: Fatal or very serious injuries.
Measure: Ensure that the device cannot be operated with operating voltages > 30
V. The system operator is responsible for ensuring this.
NOTICE!
Connect the device using terminal 7 and terminal 8 of the front part.
Supply the PROFIBUS
FIBUS ® PCB in the rear part
Connect the supply voltage gateway
WARNING!
IP 65
Cause: Plug-socket combination not screwed together
Consequence: Fatal or very serious injuries.
Measure: Ensure that the plug-socket combination is screwed together.
The IP 65 rating is only applicable to the uncabled DMT if the supplied cover is
plugged over the 9-pin D-Sub socket.

In Germany this plug connector is described under the standard DIN 41652, which
in turn refers to MIL-C-24308 and IEC807-2 (1985 issue).
